April Showers

I live for those dark and musty days in the spring when the skies open up and bring desperately needed rain to the forest.  You can smell the life being breathed back into the world. That musty, soil smell of petrichor and the cool freshness of water bring with it hopes, dreams, and a promise of growth. Change. It feels exhilarating.
(Plus it washes away all the gross dinginess of a long winter).

I wanted to capture that feeling, inspired by those first rains of the season.
This bar is a perfect was to refresh yourself for the day (and wash off your own gross dinginess!)

This bar starts, as always, with 100% goat milk from our own goats and coloured and scented with only botanicals and infused oils.
Drip, drip, drop little April showers features layers of draped deep indigos, speckled brown, and creamy white.  A light exfoliation is provided by black walnut hull powder and Fullers Earth Clay

Scented with custom blend of essential oils and home distilled hydrosols aiming to capture to rich, earthy, grassy, herbaceous aroma of Spring.  Including Vetiver, Clary Sage, Carrot Seed, Copaiba Balsam, Mint Scented Geramium Hydrosol. Basil. Rosemary, Juniper, Ho Wood, Lemon, Petitgrain, and Litsea Cubeba Essential Oils
