Forest balm begins with fragrant and resinous balsam poplar buds when winter begins to release her icy grip on the forest and the increasing sun warms the resin so that honey golden droplets appear at the tips of the buds. The collected buds are infused in oil along with sunshiney yellow Arnica flowers. Arnica infused butter, witch hazel and raw beeswax are whipped into a silky emulsion and essential oils of Clove, Frankincense and Patchouli are added.
