The Japanese art of Kintsugi (Golden-Joinery) is a method of mending broken things with veins of gold. Taking the care to appreciate the life that piece has lived, celebrating it's journey and whatever misfortunes it's had along the way that shaped it into it's current form, mending the whole while respecting it's history.
Instead of erasing our cracks wouldn't it be great if we could try to find beauty, life, and joy in our imperfections?
Inspired by Kintsugi, this bar of creamy nourishing goat milk soap is lightly speckled with green tea extract and veined with fine lines of biodegradable light gold glitter (100% aluminium and plastic free). It's neutral understated beauty and light scent is perfect for spending a few moments taking care of yourself, appreciating all that you are and where you have been.
