Moroccan Tile | Autumn Collection

Dating back to the 10th century striking tilework has been created using geometric shapes set in a plaster base to form intricate patterns fitted together in arithmetical fashion to form orderly and precise mosaics.  Soapmaking echos the combination of mathematics, artistry, and usefulness behind this painstaking craft and I wanted to pay homage to this intricate artform.  Each bar is a bespoke masterpiece of handcrafted tilework, each piece hand cut using a handmade tool. Transformed out of remnants of other soap, each coloured with a kaleidoscope of natural pigments and botanical dyes.

The aroma is sweet and dark, heady and exotic, scented with clary sage, vanilla-like benzoin, ho wood, black pepper, and a hint of ylang ylang.
