Goat Stewardship Program | Sponsor your favourite Apothecandy goat!

The Goat Stewardship program is a community supported agriculture (CSA) opportunity for connection and knowledge sharing.
The concept is to pair up some of the incredible goats here at Apothecandy with folks who have come to love these beautiful animals; and create an opportunity for goatless folks to learn more about the care and keeping of them. This program will bring you the connection with your chosen animal and the opportunity to gain a better understanding of all things goat keeping, without needing to handle the harder hands-on work involved.

So often I get to hear your dreams of becoming a goatherd, their charismatic charm easily captures peoples hearts. But the reality of keeping goats create barriers too difficult for many to overcome.  Housing, fencing, feeding, vet care, fencing, daily chores, milking, breeding programs, did I mention fencing…

Through sponsorship, you help provide essential resources such as quality feed, hay, bedding, veterinary care, and infrastructure improvements to assist me with helping each goat live a healthy and fulfilling life. Your support directly enhances the sustainability of the farm and promotes compassionate, responsible animal stewardship.

In return, every Goat Steward will receive these benefits:
- Regular updates and photos via email
- Shout outs on social media and website
- Opportunities to schedule a visit with your goat on our farm if you are able to travel to our location, or video calls with me and your goat to meet them and learn about them virtually.
- A special thank you card from myself and the herd.

 Additional available perks depending on your level of Sponsorship such as naming rights for new kids entering the program and custom goat milk soap

Goat Stewardship Program levels (per year):

Level 1 - $175 – Become a goat steward.  Includes all regular benefits.

Level 2 - $280 (Adults)  - Includes all the base level benefits, a set of 4 goat milk soap of your choosing from our regularly available soaps shipped to you.

Level 3 - $375 (Non-Milking Goats) - Includes all base level benefits and a custom batch of goat milk soap. (6 medium sized bars)

Level 4 - $450 (Milking goats) – Includes all base level benefits and a custom batch of goat milk soap made with milk from your sponsored doe. (6 medium sized bars)

Level 5 - $300 (1st year kids)-  Includes all the base level benefits, a bar of goat milk soap shipped to you, plus naming rights for new kids entering the program
